Custom Commission Terms & Conditions

By placing a custom commission order with Miki Leann Designs, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Custom Commission Pricing

Custom commissions differ from standard shop offerings and are priced accordingly due to the unique labor, materials, and design work required.

• Custom commission pricing begins at $225 and increases based on the complexity, level of detail, and requested style.
  
  
• Final pricing will be communicated and agreed upon prior to invoicing.
  
  

2. Design & Style Limitations

Miki Leann Designs will make every reasonable effort to replicate the look and feel of the provided reference images. However, please note:

• All styles are artist interpretations and are subject to natural variation.
  
  
• As each wig is styled by hand, exact replication is not guaranteed.
  
  
• Certain styles may be declined or modified based on feasibility and current skill set. Any required adjustments will be discussed with the client in advance.
  
  

3. Approval & Non-Refundability

All custom commissions and custom cap sizes are non-refundable.

Prior to shipment, a final approval photo will be sent to confirm that the completed style meets our standards. By approving the style, you confirm that the item meets your expectations and accept the item as final.

4. Fit and Damage Policy

• If the wig does not fit the custom cap measurements you provided, or arrives damaged due to shipping, Miki Leann Designs will offer complimentary repairs. However:
  
  
• The client must cover return shipping costs.
  
  
• Damage from wear, misuse, or improper storage is not eligible for free repair.
  
  
• For wear-related damage, clients may book a restyle slot, subject to availability and standard restyle fees.
  
  

5. Rush Orders

Rush requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the following:

• Approval is at the sole discretion of Miki Leann Designs based on complexity, base wig availability, and current production volume.
  
  
• If a deadline is adjusted after the order is placed, a rush fee will apply.
  
  
• If the project cannot be completed by your deadline, the order may be declined to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  
  
• Clients are strongly advised not to schedule events around custom orders without first confirming availability and turnaround time.
  
  

6. Processing Time & Delays

I strive to meet all stated processing times; however, unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergencies, or material delays may occur.

• Orders cannot be canceled due to unforeseen delays.
  
  
• The well-being of the artist is a priority, and processing times may be extended as necessary.
  
  
• You will be notified promptly if a delay impacts your order timeline.
  
  

7. Work-in-Progress (WIP) Photos

Due to production volume and workspace limitations, Miki Leann Designs does not guarantee frequent WIP photo updates. Photos will be provided only when necessary for client input or final approval. For general updates, please consult the Virtual Order Queue at the following link:

8. Deadlines

If your custom order has a specific deadline, it must be communicated prior to ordering. Deadlines cannot be guaranteed retroactively. If a deadline is accepted, it will be formally documented and included in your order details.

By commissioning a custom piece, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms outlined above.
